Prayer is Man talking to God, while Meditation is God talking to Man. In the states of prayer, you cry out to God. In the states of meditation, God answers those prayers. This may seem contradictory to some, but if you would examine the statement, then you will know that as you pray for something, it is instantly given. As it is meditated upon, it is instantly received.
